| Description | Medium-sized transportation ship that was commissioned together with the D'Deridex class sometime between the beginning and the middle of the 24th century. Despite their small size, Romulan shuttles have high warp potential, armament and a cloaking device. Generaly, they are used as support spacecraft on the Romulan Warbirds of the Imperial Fleet and the Tal Shiar, whom they resemble in design. Furthermore, the Romulan shuttle is used by the Romulan government to transport important personalities and in covert secret service missions, for which a large ship would be too noticeable. |
