2367  After the death of her instructor Curzon Dax Jadzia agrees to be joined to the Dax symbiont as the 8th host.
2369  After the end of the Cardassian Occupation of Bajor, Lt. Jadzia Dax is transferred to the space station Deep Space Nine. She is the new science officer.

   February Jadzia starts a romantic liaison with Lt. Cmd. Worf, however, she refuses to marry him instantly as the Klingon customs demand.
   December Jadzia Dax commands the USS Defiant during the Dominion attack on DS9 and supervises the arrangement of a field of self-replicating mines near the wormhole which is essential for the survival of the Federation.
During the evacuation of DS9, Jadzia agrees to marry Worf after the end of the immediate conflict.

   SD 51426 Jadzia Dax and Worf marry with a traditional Klingon wedding on Deep Space Nine.
   September During a secret mission in Dominion space Jadzia is so badly injured that she will die without immediate medical treatment. Her companion and husband Worf decides to cancel the mission and takes her back to DS9 in order to save her life.
   December During the Federation counter-attack on the Dominion Jadzia Dax is fatally wounded. However, alone the host Jadzia dies, the Dax symbiont survives and is transported to Trill to find an appropriate new host as soon as possible.
