   October Admiral Dougherty is comissioned by the Federation council to supervise the Ba'ku mission. On this cultural surveillance mission which is intended to observe te Ba'ku, a people discovered half a year ago by the dubious Son'a, he works together with Ru'afo, the leader of the Son'a, with whom the Federation has forged an alliance recently. Secretly, however, Dougherty and Ru'afo plan to relocate the Ba'ku using a holoship in order to use the planet, whose rings feature an unusual healing metaphasic radiation, for their own purposes.
   Stardate 52865 After Dougherty refuses to harm the Ba'ku and announces to cancel the mission, Ru'afo ends their alliance and kills him in the Son'a body forming chamber.
