   Mar 29th Deanna Troi is born to Lwaxana and Ian Andrew Troi on Betazed, in a house near the Lake El-Nar.
Deanna is only a few months old when her seven year old sister Kestra drowns in a lake during a picnic. Since her grieving parents repress this event, Deanna doesn't know for many years that she had a sister once.
2343 Deanna's father Ian Andrew Troi dies during a Starfleet mission. From now on, Lwaxana Troi has to raise her daughter alone.
2355-59 Deanna attends Starfleet Academy, graduating successfully.
2359 Pursuing a medical career in Starfleet, Deanna begins advanced psychology studies at the University of Betazed. During her studies, Tam Elbrun will become her patient for some time, and she will have a romance with the Starfleet officer Lt. William T. Riker, who is stationed on Betazed.
2361 After William T. Riker has been transferred to the USS Potemkin and promoted to Lt. Cmd. for his extraordinary bravery on the Nervala mission, Deanna's relationship with him comes to an end. He doesn't keep their appointment on Risa, six weeks after his departure from Betazed, and Troi won't see him again until they serve together on the Enterprise-D.
2363 Deanna Troi completes her psychology studies.
2364 Lt. Cmd. Troi is transferred to the new USS Enterprise-D and is appointed the ship's counselor.
2370 Troi successfully passes her bridge officers exam and is subsequently promoted to commander.

   SD 48650 When the engineering section is destroyed in a warp core breach, the saucer section is about to crash uncontrollably on Veridian III and the conn officer becomes unavaiable after the attack of the Duras sisters, Deanna Troi takes the helm. She succeeds in landing the saucer section on the planet's surface safely and only with few casualities, although the ship structure is irreperably damaged during the crash.
2372 Cmd. Troi is transferred to the USS Enterprise-E as counselor.

   SD 50893 After the Borg have travelled back to the year 2063 after their failed new attack on Earth in order to assimilate mankind, Deanna Troi travels back as well together with the crew of the Enterprise-E. On the Earth of the 21st century, she manages to track Zefram Cochrane, the constructor of the first warp ship, and make him cooperate. With the crew of the Enterprise, she ensures that despite the attempts of the Borg to change the future of Earth, Cochrane succeeds in making the first warp flight and establishing First Contact with the Vulcans.

   SD 52865 When Captain Picard investigates an incident during the Ba'ku mission and discovers the dark secret that the Son'a intend to relocate the Ba'ku to harness the special properties of the planet's rings, Deanna Troi supports the captain together with the crew and puts off her uniform to defend the Ba'ku against the Son'a.
