Curriculum vitae   2360 Vreenak becomes a member of the Romulan Senate. 2373    December Senator Vreenak negotiates a non-aggression treaty with the Dominion for the Romulan Empire. He is one of the most fervent defenders of the  of the Senate. 2374    Sept 19th Senator Vreenak meets the Dominion envoy Weyoun on Sukara.     Vreenak makes a quick trip to DS9 to join a secret meeting with Captain Benjamin Sisko. Presenting a faked Cardassian data rod which contains information on a potential Dominion invasion of Romulus, Sisko wants to change his opinion concerning Romulus' role in the war. Yet, Vreenak recognizes the deception and immediately departs, taking the rod as evidence of Sisko's conspiration with him. Garak, former Cardassian agent and initiator of the plan, however, has placed a bomb in Vreenak's shuttle.    Sept 20th On his way back to Romulus Vreenak's shuttle is destroyed by the bomb; the senator dies. The circumstances of his death and a heavily damaged, but partly readable Cardassian data rod loaded with explosive information on the plans of the Dominion which is found in the shuttle makes the Tal Shiar believe that the Dominion wanted to get rid of the senator after he got hold of the rod on Sukara. On the same day, the Romulan Empire declares war on the Dominion, a direct answer to Vreenak's death.
